Dream a little dream of…

Jun 21, 2021

It was back then in December 2014 while I as traveling in Thailand, escaping the foggy and freezing cold weather in Germany during the Christmas time. I was kind of running away from the

Since days I was attending her yoga class, somewhere in Koh Phangan, at the jungle yoga shala with an amazing palm forest view. I was always in love with palm trees as they soothed my mind and heart looking to them for hours.

Sara was her name, from Portugal. She was guiding us through a tough Ashtanga Yoga that day. I cannot exactly say why it was that particular day, as I was there already more than a week. Before we entered our well deserved shavasana, tweeted but with smiling and relaxed faces, Sara lightened up few amazing smelling incences and spread them around the shale. I took one last look towards her, her clothes (deep purple yoga pants and a tree of life shirt), tanned and relaxed smile and in this moment I knew: I want to be like her.

From that day on I spent hours practicing and reading all the books, blogs, magazines, whatever I found about yoga. Others would say, I was obsessed. I finally found something that blew me off and Sara was the key which led me to a long time closed door, where my true passion was locked in.

Already in our younger age we all have some kind of „jobs“ on our imagination. When I grow up I want to be a fire fighter or a princess from the latest Disney movie, or maybe police officer because of the uniform.
In my case I had few dreams what I want to be, starting from a singer, over to a drummer, a lawyer or kindergardener (it changed from month to month what ever movie I watched latest 🙂

But since I met Sara, my dream to be yoga teacher in a tropical place become first a blur vision and then turnt into concrete plan. A plan that I constantly followed point by point to be there, where I am today.

Dreams….we all have them. Some of them appear at night and some at any possible situation. Some of them disappear within minutes again but then there are those, which stay. I learnt that dreams can come true. You only have to believe in them. Believe in YOU. And when you believe you automatically work on it.

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you, sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you, sweet dreams whatever they’ll be, if it’s meant for you, you will believe.

My first blog article here is dedicated to Sara, which was my little starlight. I hope that all of you, who reading this right now, find your own Sara and never stop believing in your dreams. Let them come true!

Get started with yoga today.
